- Yes, but Google has changed the rules of the game.
- They are not competing against Microsoft by producing a competing OS, that would be suicide. They are competing by offering APIs that can run on any OS, and connect to services on the internet. So, the only thing they are doing the same as MS is going after the developers, but that is far from being a Microsoft invention, something Microsoft did very well, yes.
