For your sake, hope you don't have any bets laid down on that! LOL...
Linux has been useful as a desktop for several years,
just not quite as turnkey - or unstable, insecure and
inflexible - as M$Win, for the technologically ignorant
that represent the vast bulk of users. Ever support an
office full of Win users?!? LOL.

Fortunately for them, many Linux UIs are now as
cartoonish and Windows-like as M$ product, to
minimize learning curves. Unlike M$, the Linux
phenomenon is catching on by dint of real merit, not by
hype and sleazoid, dishonest marketing that relies on
misdirection, vaporware and a history of broken
promises. Never mind the US Gub'mint, think of the
users!

Do you think of the users? Nah, ! thought not...
