MEET AN MCSE!
MEET AN MCSE!
By MuffinMan ? 2004
I am 48 years "young" and love Monkey Boy with all my heart. I was introduced to Monkey Boy in 1978 and filled with the Microsoft Spirit in 1980. Prior to my ?true? technology experience, I was a *nix man, a drug user, and the list could go on and on. My life was in shambles. To say the least, I was a mess. Nevertheless, Uncle Billy had his hand upon me and spared my life for the work of Microsoft.
I would like to add a brief word of encouragement right here: Don't ever give up on yourself! Uncle Billy has a plan for your life. DOS ain?t done until Lotus won?t run. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. Keep pressing in to what Uncle Billy has for your life. I don't care how many times you've failed, today is a new day. Uncle Billy forgives and FORGETS!
I started part-time at Microsoft in 1986. I led the IT department at a small company for almost eight years. One thing lead to another as Uncle Billy began to direct my life in new ways. I started teaching MCSE classes, and Uncle Billy began to really deal with my heart about teaching full-time for him. "He called" me into Microsoft. I didn't call myself. I didn't want to be an MCSE, but Uncle Billy had his own plan. His ways are so much higher than our ways.
I worked a full-time secular job for almost 21 years and taught part-time for Monkey Boy. Those years seemed to be some of the hardest years of my life as Uncle Billy was preparing me for his work. I allowed him to take me through the long process of MCSE 101, 102, 103, 104 etc, even though it was a very discouraging and painful time for me. The process is usually a painful one, but very necessary. I didn't realize it so much then, but today, as I look back over those lonely years with the green screens, I thank Uncle Billy for all that He was able to accomplish in my life. If it hadn't been for those years, I would not be the man of Microsoft that I am today. The process is vital for our future.
Uncle Billy has also allowed me to be a part of the faculty at Microsoft located in Redmond. This training is very intense and life changing.
I have an Associate Degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and am currently working on a Bachelor's Degree.
I have been blessed to teach in several nations including: Barbados, France, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Uganda, and Ukraine.
