I guess you
don't count delaying a product to make the current one safer, buying up a company and giving away AS, bulding all the requested security features into the next OS, and releasing patches faster than they ever used any progress or spending any money for their user base? And, blaming any OS maker for junk email is just plain stupid. Blame your ISP and yourself for that. As for the other 3 Virus, Adaware, ang Hijacks...MS has gone further in the past year and a half then they have in the previous decade and much of that was "given" to W2k and XP owners(as it should have been anyway). But to ramble about losing touch...I think it is you who has lost touch with knowing some of things they have done recently. I hold off on judging Vista until it ships but MS themselves, between the security enhancements and the OSS mindset change, is looking better then they ever have, IMO.
