Yeah, but...
...that doesn't matter. This case is not about truth, it's about perception. Google knows that Microsoft is currently perceived as the "bad guy" in ANY dispute, and so it is to Google's advantage to drag this out. Google knows that there is a certain percentage of the public that will believe anything that is said about Microsoft, legal precedent notwithstanding. Hiring a law firm that has specialized in high-profile cases only helps things from Googles's standpoint, win or lose.
