Awesome decision...
My rep informed me this morning that SP1 was cancelled for Virtual Server 2005. He told me to immediately uninstall it from my production servers and acquire funding for Virtual Server 2005 R2. VS2K5R2, for those of us "in the know" will change virtualization for the masses. I still can't believe there is even a market for VMWare anymore. I especially love launching a web browser and pointing it to an IIS URL to launch my virtual machines. MCS is coming onsite. For a small six-figure fee, MCS is performing bleeding edge work, running VS2K5R2 sessions with other VS2K5R2 sessions. I told my CEO this morning we are the first company to virtualize virtualization. My CEO stared at me in utter disbelief, he was obviously impressed I am pushing us to the limits. My rep said he would take me to dinner tonight to Daniel's Broiler so that I may deliver the check.
