How will that work while I am on the road and can not get a wired or wifi connection? That is the problem with all this stuff. Web browsers are glorified 3270 sessions and do not work unless connected. You need a desktop OS with locally written apps to get things done in a disconnected mode.
We can argue about whether MS is the right desktop platform but do have one thing right.
