1. I want to live in a world where calling someone a "twit" is considered being "foul-mouthed". [This is not sarcasm. Such a world would be wonderful!]

2. The world is running away from MS. They have announced that they have stopped growing. For a variety of reaons that I have detailed in other posts, there is a good chance that they will crash this year. Their current business model has failed; they are cutting costs everywhere; Bill cashed out; and the decline has started. Regardless of how many customers they currently have, the company will have major trouble before the end of 2005.

If you do not agree, just invest in their stock so you can enjoy their "success". I expect the stock to drop considerably once the mutual funds realize that MSFT has no future. Their only hope is that their cash reserves are enough to give them time to implement another business plan, but this is unlikely to succeed with the current management.
