Here we go again
I have personally been developing using Visual Studio 2005 beta 2 for several months now and have not encountered significant problems. I have now abandoned VS 2003 for all of my personal development because VS 2005 is working so well for me. I'm only using VS 2003 now at work where we will not be upgrading until the final product is released.

Anyone thought of the possibility that customers want a third beta so they can use the product a little longer without paying for it? I'm not saying thats the case for everyone, but I do know that if there were such significant problems now in the current CTP I would have ran into them while using beta 2 for the past several months.

I sincerely expect a solid release product in November. There will be problems just like with every other newly released product (including Firefox who has seen SIX maintainence releases since January), but they will be worked out. I for one am eagerly anticipating the final product release. It will make my life much easier as a developer.

I wonder how many of the people posting here and are bashing MS have actually done any significant development with beta 2? My guess would be very few.
