MS and Spyglass
"MS ripped off Spyglass to get Internet Explorer. Now they whine when they get caught with their hands in the cookie jar."

And just how did MS rip off Spyglass? They licensed the software. Now there was an arguement between the two as to how much MS owed Spyglass, but that was all. There has never, as far as I know, a claim that MS ripped off IE from Spyglass.

From what I have seen about this case, MS is not the only one who believe that Eolas' patent is no good and should never have been issued. If the patent office is relooking at the issue, there may be something to what MS and the others are saying.
