I always find Mike humorous

Mike really makes me laugh. He writes this stuff thinking he appears to be a member of the elite MS club. In reality, he's a slave to the very rep that took him to dinner. If Mike's company really needed heavy DB power, such as 64 bit, SQL Server would be a reasonable choice. However, most databases are very small. If MS charged by the DB size, I'd be all for it. But they charge by the CPU.

Mike, you could have just installed the MSDE version using a single web connection for free and saved everyone a bunch of $$$. But, its obvious Mike doesn't get bonuses based on a budget. He's all about the MS Coolaid. I really don't think MS is terrible, but I think anyone who blindly follows a company without questioning what they are buying is a serious liability. Maybe Mike's boss will read this.
