- Doomed to fail....
- I moved our entire data set onto SQL Server 2005 ages ago. Our controllers were not happy about putting data and financials on a beta database but my rep tole me to go ahead anyway. He threw in some MCS consultants and for a mere million dollars, we had SQL Server 2005 up and running. This is an elegant and refined product, a far cry from the green-screen MySQL crowd. That night my rep and I went to dinner. Although nothing was working and applications were down, we celebrated the victory of Yukon within our data center.
