For the most part

you do know other licenses upfront. But I don't like how the EULA for MS software changes at times when you download an update. In essense, they are changing the rules as they go along.

Would they offer a full refund should someone object to a changed EULA? I've never tested that, so I don't know. If someone tried and MS refused then things could get ugly.

Likewise, I hope that the GPL3 is compatible enough with the GPL2 that if one should change the license that any contributors' rights, not just the copyright holder, would be upheld as much under one as another (and if not they would have the right to object). Otherwise things could get nasty, because people who contributed did so with the understanding that their rights would be upheld exactly as the GPL2 states.

The legitimacy of an opinion is in the eye of the beholder.

I would argue that it is in the eye of public opinion. I don't think anybody with a brain would argue that African Americans have been screwed in the past, so if that is Jesse Jackson's primary belief in life then it would be a legitimate point of view. But plenty of people would argue against his remedies, such as quotas and other forms of affirmative action.
