I'm not at one with the GPL.

Much as I like the idea of free software, the idea that all software should be open source is IMHO ridiculous. I don't use the GPL, and if the next version retains the "you can't use Open Source libraries with proprietary software" clause is kept, I'm going to keep using other licenses.

IMHO, there's a time and place for proprietary software - especially since proprietary software is easier to sell. I'm sorry, but we developers have to put bread on the table also.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see this as a religious issue like the FSF does. IMHO, it's another tool in the developers toolbox, and I fail to see how it's an "ethical" issue as they claim.
