Please DO attempt to grow a brain.. Larry has no desire to try again to build an OS.

Oracle Corp ALREADY works very, very closely with the development teams at RedHat and supports the RedHat OS for all their customers possessing a valid Oracle Customer Support ID at no additional charge.

Oracle Corp moved nearly ALL of their internal servers to Linux. They dumped Windows-based File Servers, E-mail Servers, Calendar Servers, etc., and put it ALL on smaller linux-based clusters running their Oracle Collaboration Suite (http://www.oracle.com/collabsuite/index.html), saving them several million dollars per year just in licensing. Plus, Collab Suite is a FAR better product.

They don't want to take it over, they want it to grow, because they will have happier customers running a better OS than M$.
