RE: Relevance???
No he can't, he is a Loverock Jr.. A wanna be in the OS world of geeks.

Anyhow, I just recieved an order for 17 LAMP systems for various AG's in my area! So bye-bye corporation that I once worked for... hello self employment!

The fact is I set up a loca AG with a new SuSE Linux system with all of his requirements met. A new DB for his PO creation and tracking as well as bringing him up to the 21st century in software and usability. He requested VPN accessiblity along with various other needed functions.

Bottom line, some of his competitors saw what he has and how well it works... now the orders are coming in. In my area alone there are 247 AG's and I have just started to receive the requests.

The 17 want Linux on the server and desktop. They want the freedom from the expensive licensing and the freedom to OWN their systems. They also like the fact that once they are up and running their operational / maintenance costs will drop. What I am building for them includes training, data import and archiving.

Bottom line, Linux is the answer these people needed and the answer they want.
