Windows, easy to install yes.. but
On the flip side of that, if I want to load a system without a GUI, Linux has that customization.

The reason I still use Linux over Windows is that once I get Linux where I want it, there is very little I will have to do to maintain it. And the fact that I want it a specific way. I can rip it apart as I see fit. I don't have to mess with some crap.

Also keep in mind that I am still an amatuer at linux. I learn more and more and as I do, I begin to understand the advantages.

As for easy to install, there are some exceptions. I have a FreeBSD box, (Not Linux, but still not Microsoft) that I can have up and running as a hardened webserver in less than two hours because of pre-written scripts. Windows isn't there yet.
