RE: Mixed message.
Nothing mixed at all Anton, again nice try. But this is posted from a Toshiba Laptop running Ubuntu 5.04 through a custom built coyote Linux router / firewall. Off to my right is my wifes SuSE 9.3 work station that she uses daily for her job and in each of the kids rooms are SuSE 9.3 work stations that they use for home work, research and games. Then in my den (which is where the coyote Linux router is) are my main system which is an AMD-64 Ubuntu 5.04 install, a Mepis file print server, a SuSE 9.3 experiment box, a Gentoo learning box, 2 Mandriva boxes and 4 Windows PCs to be converted to Ubuntu or Mepis in the next couple of days.

All of the Linux systems are operational and quite usable. Linux is far from dead, and contrary to what you and others would have us believe, it's quite usable.
