Nope, I have never said this directly and nor do I believe it. If anything Linux will work with Unix, in some cases it will replace it where Windows would have, so in essence it's stopping Windows from moving into the arena. Either way Unix admins and programmers will win, except where Windows replaces either Linux or Unix.

No more than the stock crash of 1929, that kicked off the great depression. Those were damaging hard times. Now then again, the way the big players are laying people off and how our currency is weakening on the global market... we may very well be in for another depression. Who knows?
