It blows Exchange out of the water.

I like being able to retrieve an individual mail
file from backup.

Replication is un-matched, I wish it cared over
to Easy Sync Pro.

Also, I have seen Notes 4.x and Notes 5,
Notes 6.5 and above are truely above and beyond,
they hide the ugliness of the workspace and they
rebuild the UI that just plain sucked. Now they
are working on the insides and plan on
rebuilding much of the background. Notes will
have DB2 guts. I don't hear what Microsoft is
going to do to match it, but I doubt it could
measure up. Oh, and I am still waiting on SQL
Server 2005, because SQL Server 2000 still
sucks.
