I've never signed one, and...
...never would, unless I had enough money saved up that I could support myself and my family on it for at least a year and the pay was good enough to justify the sacrifice.

Even then, I wouldn't sign until my lawyer had explained it to me thoroughly and advised me to.

Too many shysters in the world, too many allegedly honest people willing to employ them, and too much tolerance for both for me to take any other position.

Frankly, if I had that kind of money, I'd rather start my own business.
