the license agreement between SCO and Microsoft is declared void and Novell demands from Microsoft a complete and sudden stop of everything related to that license agreement because of license compliancy violations (which Microsoft says, and enforces, is a big bad no-no to do) or else?
I mean, what could Microsoft say? That they don't have anything in use or production that's related to that license agreement? That wouldn't be smart at all because then they actually say that they only sponsored SCO. But if they don't say that then they'll have to say what does fall under that license agreement and thus put all that under legal risk.
Hmmm, might the BSA go busting some doors in at Redmond some time in the future once the SCO/Microsoft license agreenment is declared void? Or will the BSA just sit still? But if so, then why? - Posted by: arthur-b@... Posted on: 07/31/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
