furthermore, ALL Dell products have the PID on the case... IF you had to go thru that then you were obviously trying to pirate an OS. Furthermore, the ONLY instance that I had to call MS on an install is when I reinstalled Office XP Pro after a failed HD and the process was very simple, after about 2 or 3 questions the MS guy gave me MY REG number from my original install (which, by the way, is not the same as what is on the CD).
