You could not be more wrong.
Your comment could not have had much thought behind it. Why is it that the anti-MS camp always try to turn these things into some panic on MS's part? Try having a more balenced view of the universe.

$99 is nothing to MS, for them to give it away to the small audience that would use it is nothing. They give away better tools to their developers. As far as migration from *nix to Windows is concerned, I used SFU to enable me to intergrate Linux servers into a existing Windows network.

At the very best this is an example that MS is acknowledging that it needs to talk to the rest of the universe.
