What migration???
Windows goes fat client.

UNIX and Linux mostly work with thin client environment.

Is SFU a set of tools for migrating from UNIX to Server 2003 or just set of fancy tools that imitate environment which is done by commercial MKS Toolkit or freeware Cygwin (that by the way includes quite nicely working XWindow)?

THose existed for years now so I hope SFU is something else.

Anyway, thin client in Windows is required if this migration has to make sense. Migrating different type of approach does not always make sense.

In particular those researchers base their results probably less on engineering experts and more on perception of some engineers. UNIX approach with thin client does not need to be more expensive. The cost of UNIX hardware is at central CPU only while clients should be much cheaper than Windows PC's. Also deployment, maintenace and security issues should be relieved with thin client approach rather than Windows fat client approach.

I wonder what SFU really does? Is that the kind of migration tool like that unfortunate tool from IBM to migrate from UNIX to Linux (configuration of it is basically migration)?

Good luck
