The way Economy grows: A Reaction from Indian
My friend,
Outsourcing is bad if you just think of negative
side. Think of these events:
* America can buy quality software with lower
price.
* With Indian and chineese economy with 1 billin
plus people growing. More and more people will
join the middle class, ready to spend on cell
phone, eat outside at Mc Donald, KFC, travel to
western countries including USA.
* USA companies will be in lead because of their
cost cutting. They will export packaged foods
to Asian middle class, innovate new technologies
and get royalties.

Remember, if a person in India works in R&D, for
companies like GE, IBM. Who gets the right to patents. GE, IBM. Who makes money on that patent, GE, IBM, etc.
But if you curse outsourcing, some one else in
UK, Germany or some better off country will do the same and compete with American company.

Forces of Jobs creation and deletion in free economy work simultaneously. But if GE, IBM, etc
will not be able to compete, they will go down. Even then the job loss will happen.

So if you think of BPO in longer run, atleast it will lessen the pain of job losses which can happen any where whether it is American or India or China. The problem is, it is just happening in
America right now.
