Outsourcing Is Bad For All Americans

With Overseas Outsourcing:
1.) U.S. Citizens lose well paying jobs, positions that will not be replaced by similar ones in the U.S. Unemployment will rise thus creating a greater burden on government programs to support those workers who have been displaced. This will also cause a greater number of bankruptcies, depression of housing prices, etc further depressing our economy.
2.) Federal, State and Local governments lose tax dollars. With this money spent overseas India, China, etc enjoy the taxes incurred on their worker incomes. We need the tax dollars incurred from income and sales taxes to provide for necessary government programs including (but not limited to) fire and police, social services and schools. Money spent overseas is simply gone.
3.) The loss of white collar jobs will effect the economy by resulting in less disposable income. This drop will mean consumers will buy fewer good and only at lower cost which will hurt all businesses including those who tried to generate a greater revenue by outsourcing in the first place. This will further the downward economic spiral.
4.) As was mentioned correctly by some silicon valley CEO's a "brain drain" will result as our current and future workforce will gravitate to less technical positions limiting our future competitiveness in the world arena.

We need to:
- Restrict any form of H1B Visas. There are plenty of Americans to cover all jobs necessary for any company in the U.S. thank you. If they wish to become an American citizens then they are welcome because they will become part of our economic system.
- Provide tax benefits for companies that do not outsource and increase the tax burden for companies that do.
- Vote for politicians who support the American worker first, not big business. We will need a change in federal leadership both in the white house and congress to make this happen.
- Stop patronizing companies that do outsource. Do not use HP, Intel, Toshiba, etc products. Let the management of these companies know why.
- Support the unionization of IT workers.
