Rep and I are going out to celebrate...
My rep called and personally thanked me for putting him over the top again this quarter. He called me a few weeks ago and said he was a bit behind on his numbers. Due to some creative accounting, I changed my W-4 deductions and threw a tax credit to my rep. I then placed an advanced contract for Blackcomb and an open basket of products titled "Next Generation Visual Studio". We then wrote the check and had it deducted out of marketing to cover it on our end. My reasoning to legal was this: Windows helps us sell products by providing one degree of separation and allowing us to maintain an agile infrastructure using .NET. Therefore, marketing will foot the bill.
