Atlanta not a hotbed for MCSE's....
We recently started looking for some top-Top-TOP MCSE's to help in our Atlanta office. We have 10 sales guys there and have deployed about 30 Windows 2003 servers. My rep flew out with me. We went first class of course and looked over the resumes as we flew. These guys had their MCSE but no real experience. As soon as we landed at Hartsfield, we ran to the office and started grilling these applicants. We even did role playing, pretending to call them at 3am to tell them our ISA Server was not properly blocking www.mozilla.org. Ran these guys through the ringer and hired none of them. Just was not impressed. I mean, for 35k a year, I was expecting some real gurus. My rep and I ate dinner at the airport and lamented the lack of talent.
