The world according to jorwell
>SQL was developed by IBM
Therefore PostgresSQL copied from IBM.<

So, in your haste to rail against PostgresSQL you admit that both Microsoft and Oracle copied IBM. Is that correct? Or did you simply overlook the implied statement when you set out on your crusade to rail mindlessly against PostgresSQL?

Either way it does not say much for you. Blind, narrow-minded religious bigotry always reveals itself.

Do you have another epiphany for us? Microsoft copied everything?

So, according to you who, besides Xerox, is not guilty of copying the GUI? Who, besides IBM, is not guilty of copying databases? Who, besides BSD, is not guilty of copying TCP/IP? Who, besides Netscape, is not guilty of copying the web browser?

According to your simple logic, every company, save few exceptions, is guilty of copying their offerings from someone else. Virtually all are guilty of copying from one university or another.

Odd, I don't see you railing against any of these companies. So, what, exactly, is it about OSS that frightens you so? If you do not wish to use it then don't. Problem is you go far beyond not using it. You rant and rail against it. So, clearly, the issue, for you, is far beyond simply not using it. You have a personal investment. Much like religious bigots, you wish to destroy anything, and anyone, that does not agree with your way of thinking. An unnatural, unwarranted fear of something suggest a phobia. Paranoia. Mental disease or defect.

You anti-OSS crusaders really need to take a break and get a life.

Of course, you anti-MS crusaders need to take a break, too.

My server is better than your server. My word processor is better than your word processor. My browser is better than your browser. My daddy can beat up your daddy. Some of the comments posted here from both camps makes me wonder if some of these folks ages is even in the double diget range yet.
