Really, why do you post questions like that? You're not so stupid as to not understand such things. Even so...

What are these companies to do-- just not show up? Then SCO has their day in court, they paint whatever picture they want, and no one offers a counterpoint. Since SCO's view is the only view for the court, they win. There would be nothing else to choose, after all. These things, for better or worse, cost money. A compentent defense requires both legal and technical experts.

Now, really... if you're going to claim that you didn't know that, then my estimation of your intelligence will go even lower than the "MS Shill" level it is currently at. Wow... I wouldn't have thought that possible...
