As though Intel wouldn't just remove AMD from the market if they knew there was a way they could. Intel isn't into competition any more than any other huge corporate outfit, they just have to deal with it becauise they failed to oust other companies from the market.
It amazes me to what extent ordinary people on the street defend soulless monopolies who could absolutely care less about customers and would not even think twice about sucking every dollar out of your pocket even if it meant putting you out on the street.
