don't buy adobe
I have a really simple solution to all of this: don't buy adobe. I can think of at least three valid reasons to go with a competitor:

(1) Adobe is innefficient. I'm not going to buy imaging software that wastes my computer's precious clock cycles censoring my work. Also, since I manage software purchasing in my company, my company won't buy adobe either.

(2) Adobe is dishonest. If they are sneaking sensoring code into their software, what else are they doing? I never thought I'd be comparing adobe in the products like Realplayer, even worse, Gator.

(3) We may have a legitimate reason for imaging currency. I don't know if we will but as an IT manager, I can't advise my company to buy a product that limits itself in this way.
