So what about Apple?
Is it MS's fault that Apple tried to keep their hardware proprietary instead of pushing if out to other companies? They killed themselves much like Sony killed the BETA. MS capitalized on the hardware sector having multiple vendors for product which created the marketplace of today. Had Apple done the same thing 20 years ago everyone would be suing Apple instead of MS...which I doubt would even be around because OS/2 would have been focused on more from the MS/IBM partnership that created the OS/2-Windows split
