I think we're talking past each other.
My prior post said this isn't about the software.

The first sentence was:
Software is only a way something can be accomplished.

I commented that even if you were entirely right, for the sake of argument, it would make no difference to my point.

I'm saying that attitude and expectation can win for Windows when the decision is made by people who neither want nor expect to do programming.

When you write:

The same restrictions of willingness to use and learn can apply to anything in life Anton, not just Operating Systems. I was simply pointing out that the only restrictions are the ones placed by oneself upon oneself.

and

In the US the impression that easy to use software is on Windows...

you're agreeing with me, and yet you construct your discussion as if the point were being disputed.

Just go one step further, and agree that someone looking for a non-IT job is most likely to find listings requiring expertise in Microsoft products and you've largely rewritten my original point.

Remember VCR vs. betamax. I'm arguing VCR is winning. You're contending that betamax is better technology. We might both be right, but I think I'm making the more substantial point about what's happening in the world.

Though, since you want to discuss it, a lot of people evaluating the Linux desktop have stated they don't feel it's ready for prime time among the technologically unsophisticated.
Because the subject here again is not the software but the technologically unsophisticated dealing with operating systems, I'm willing to take their word for it when they're more knowledgeable about the subject population than I.
Your contentions to the contrary are noted and not argued. You're just currently in the mnority.
