Ease of use, eh?
That little myth could take a hammering with this cut-down version of XP. Can I assume that this version is supposed to run the same applications as standard XP? None of those applications were coded with such ridiculous limits as "only 3 processes at any one time" and "only 3 windows per process", which makes me think that users are going to run into those limits quite a lot. And find them both very annoying and very frustrating.

And being based on XP, I imagine that XP Starter is probably vulnerable to XP worms too. So a few minutes after connecting to the Internet for the first time, users find themselves unable to do *anything* because 3 worms have silently installed themselves and turned the PC into a spam engine. And since worms are smart enough to relaunch themselves after a reboot, how is the *Average User* going to run the anti-virus software to clean the machine up again, when all three process slots are being used by malware?

I suppose the PCs could come preinstalled with a firewall and anti-virus software, but then the poor user would be down to running only one process at a time. Ouch.
