You're right, it's not for home users.
I agree that Office 2003 is NOT for the average home user nor do I believe Microsoft has ever said it is. That is why MS Works (bundled with most new PCs) contains Microsoft Word in it. It more than satisfies the home users needs the majority of the time.

Fact of the matter is, there are several "suites" out there and users are free to pick the one they believe fits their needs best. However that certainly doesn't give them any right to condem someone else's choice now does it?
