- What Companies Are Asking For Is Free Workers

When you can hire five people in India for the cost of one American, then it doesn't matter to companies just how much better that American is. Those companies fire as many Americans as they can to bring on armies of cheap Indian labor.
The problem IS NOT that there aren't enough Americans for these positions. Independent studies have never shown a lack of workers in the US for the last 20 years. Even during the tech bubble, there were plenty of qualified workers available for tech positions.
