What is the purpose of giving free degree programs for science and engineering if the graduates can't get jobs. American's have plenty of access to education. Remember, foriegners come over here to go to college. The problem is that labor (even white collar), for good or bad, is cheaper in other countries. When manufacturing got offshored, the answer was education. This was a good answer, move up the skillset ladder. But now those people who went back to school for CS or MIS degrees are out of jobs again. So now you say, well more education is the answer. I don't think there is an answer.
