Is there anything wrong?
Having taught classes in a universtity/college I found the women were about 1 in 20 in the classes. Minorities were about 5 in 20, most of them Asian background. Why aren't women even going into the field in college? Most the women I know who like computers have no interest in being a techie. Is that so wrong?

As for minorities, well they are minorities for reason. That being there are fewer of them so common sense just show that there would be fewer minorities is IT.

So is there anything wrong? Maybe but I some how doubt it. There could be more encouragement for those women sitting on the fence and we could just allow easier immigration for minorities but eventually they wouldn't be minorities anymore then.
