Negative Perceptions == Offshoring

These studies assume that MORE women, minorities, and people in general are needed. With all the unemployed IT workers out there, we don't need any more people entering IT. Women and minorities can see this just as well as anyone. They don't want to bust their butt and wallet to get the entry-level skills required to enter an industry where everyone is losing their jobs.

If companies want to see more women and minorities enter IT, then they need to start hiring RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. It's simple supply and demand folks. You supply the jobs. Then women and minorities will demand them.
