Try to understand business
---What if I need 0 (ZERO) iLife programs?---

If you don't need them, don't buy them. They come free
with a copy of the OS, or with a new machine. "Free" is not
being overcharged. Not buying them is not being
overcharged.

---Yes, I and most people can build a barebones $600 PC
that
will outperform $3,000 G5---

This I'd like to see. I want specs and links showing cost of
a $600 pc that can outperform the top of the line dual
2Ghz G5. Put your money where your mouth is.

---There are cheap solutions and
there is Linux.---

I can also buy a used Yugo for $100 and it will get me to
work. I would prefer to drive a Mercedes. And if I can
afford it, I probably will do so. You may have other
priorities in your life. Good for you. Does this make me
wrong in my choices?

---Why I cannot choose a bundle on Mac (as on a typical
PC) to
reduce the cost (if I need it)?---

Why can't I choose a PC with Windows, but without WMP,
IE, Outlook, etc? Again, the iLife stuff doesn't cost you a
penny extra. And best of all, if you don't want it, you can
delete it. Really delete it, not just hide it.

---If Mac is a slower than a PC computer - why Apple?s
RAM is
overpriced?---

Apple's RAM is the same standard RAM used in other PC's.
Their pricing at their stores probably reflects the overhead
(prime locations and architectural features). Again, there
are plenty of places to go for a bargain. You seem to
think it's just fine for someone to bargain shop and build a
cheap PC. Why do you think that Apple buyers are
incapable of bargain shopping and finding RAM cheaper
elsewhere?

---Why Video, mouse, keyboard and everything is
overpriced
compare to PC market?---

Apple sells Video?

---Why Dell can give a huge break on Dell?s monitors,
mouse,
keyboards, etc. but Apple cannot?---

Ah, here's where you need a lesson in economics. Dell is
able to offer deep discounts because they sell in large
quantities. They can afford to make less money per sale
as they have a higher volume of sales. Apple has a lower
volume of sales, hence, the need to profit more from each
one to stay afloat.

---Maybe Mac users need to save money in a bad
economy?---

Maybe not, judging from their very profitable quarters this
year. Same for PC users apparently, as they've been
gobbling up the "overpriced" Mac iPod like crazy.
