I think he's talking about MS. As long as there is no real competition MS is going nowhere. They are satisfied with the staus quo and have little or no problems maintaining it. So while others inovate in a product microsoft can not steal from directly, or buy out, MS is falling even more behind and that in the end will cost the us a lot of jobs.
