Backwards view of China I see
China is move fast to capitolist economy and has been doing so for the past 7 years. A lot chinese make very good money and computers are part of thier lives.

Even in North America you can point to the working poor and you'd be right that they won't spend thier minmum wage earning on a computer no matter how good the deal is. When $10 means the differnce between eating or not even a $100 PC is too expensive for them.

In a population of 1.2 Billion people even if 60% of them are too poor that remaining $40 is a huge market. That's a buying market of 480 Million consumers. Compare that to the US market of PC buying consumers.

By the way my numbers are purely SWAG(Simple Wild A$$ Guess) to illustrate a point.
