Excuse me?
You need to take a step back and take in a breath of fresh air. This is not the end of Linux, nor the end of Gentoo. I know that we all refer to MS as the 'dark side' and such, but in reality, they are just another multinational corporation with all the assets and liabilities that represents. Linux is a very good OS that will continue to move forward with the help of its corporate friends. In the mean time, it is not really profitable to attach deep religious significance to events such as this one. Tomorrow is a new day and we need to enjoy each day without pouting over little things that don't go our way.
