I appreciate you leaving religion out of it. I like PHP, MySQL and Linux ( as well as Windows, Java, Perl...whatever). Costs aside I would prefer .NET, I just think it's tighter. That's my opinion. However, if the licensing fee's were coming out of my pocket (which they aren't), I would probably use LAMP as well. As far as object oriented religion...I'm not religious about it, I just think it's a nice feature that make applications when written correctly more maintainable and easier to understand.
