I disagree
MS has long used its control of DOS and Windows to favor certain developers (by sharing information, beta releases, etc), and to handicap others (primarily competitors in the application sector). WordPerfect was an early victim of this policy, but it could happen to anyone who develops for MS platforms (you never know when MS might decide it wants to "compete" with you). To me, it stinks and strikes me as a good reason for stripping MS of its control of Windows.
