For reference
I believe that Judge Motz granted an injunction against Microsoft in the Sun case, a very rare move.
The catastrophe he sought to prevent was the immediate disappearance of Java after the introduction of .Net. He decided that the moment .Net appeared, Java would disappear into history.

Well, .Net has quickly grown to 3 million developers, the same number as Java. Sun is making an effort to increase its long stagnant total, but they are not claiming FJava is about to disappear.

Judge Motz has a disdain for Microsoft that has kept him qualified for the Penfield Jackson Award, given only to Judges who froth at the mouth whenever they hear or read the word Microsoft.
