Forget todays bunchmarks
The developers Intel based Macs are not anything near the actual
products that will ship - they are development mules, just like
the PowerMacs MS has delivered to game developers for their
new game box. Don't even look for a comparison as it'll drive
you nuts.

Also notice that no one has defined what specific Intel chip will
be in Macs. I would not be surprised if these chips are still in a
development/testing stage and will be having a lot of
optimization done by both Intel and Apple.

For someone who makes their living off of their Mac a decision
to buy should be based on what is needed to get the job done as
profitability as possible. If you can move up now and increase
your output (thereby increasing income) then it is worth the
investment. This is especially true if you are self employed and
can write off the purchase in the first year.
