It's a tough call

---Just stick it out and wait until about 6 months after the next
version (PCMac) hits the market. ---

Given that the first new machines will be low end, like the Mini,
those of us in need of higher end machines now are kind of in a
bind. Your plans are wise, but they mean waiting until at least
2007 for the new high end machines, then waiting at least 6
months past that for the bugs to be worked out. Can we wait
more than 2 years with outdated machines, or do we need to
throw away money now to cover the gap?

Me, I'm going to wait and see if Apple is willing to cut prices to
give me an incentive to buy now. Otherwise, I'll just limp along
for another few years.
